L’Associazione Italiana Colture Cellulari (AICC) e l’intera comunità scientifica piangono la scomparsa della Professoressa Marta Palmieri, ordinario di biochimica presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona. Figura cardine della biochimica italiana e socia di lungo corso della nostra Associazione, la sua dipartita lascia un vuoto profondo nel mondo della ricerca e dell’accademia.
The meeting encompassed two main sessions which discussed advantages and challenges of targeted protein degradation-based approaches, from early preclinical development to clinical use.
Il Dr. Giuseppe Arancia ha iniziato la sua attività nel 1963 presso l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità, sotto la guida della Prof.ssa Bocciarelli, nel reparto di Microscopia Elettronica, dimostrando grandi qualità scientifiche ed eccelse capacità organizzative che lo hanno portato ad assumere la direzione della stessa struttura e del reparto di Citopatologia nel 1996.
The 33rd AICC Annual Conference was an international meeting on cancer metabolism: “Dissecting metabolic circuitries in cancer cells and microenvironment: how to learn from bad lessons to develop new therapeutic opportunities”, held in Torino on 22-24 November 2021.
The Magna Graecia University Campus in Catanzaro has recently hosted the 1st International and 32nd Annual Conference of the Italian Association of Cell Culture. More than 150 scientists from all over the country attended the meeting, making the conference a real success.
The second edition of the “international proteomics and metabolomics conference and advanced school” was held at the University of Verona on 1st-2nd July 2019.This event was organized in collaboration with the Division of Mass Spectrometry (DSM) and the Italian Association of Cell Culture (AICC).
The congress (held in Roma, 19-20 giugno 2019) has deepened the mechanisms of interaction between new chemical-biological formulations and biophysical systems in order to improve the drugs transport into normal and tumor cells.
